Twitter issues

Well, Twitter has thoroughly broken itself.
They appear to be labeling my account as automated or malicious/spam, as of last night, after they started with the tweet limits.
Can't post, can't reply, can't send DMs, can't even like posts.
I was able to pin the post containing links to other locations at the top of my feed, but that was it and that was a fight to do as well.
So looks like Twitter is officially done for me, whether I like it or not.

Date: 2023-07-03 15:55 (UTC)I'm on Mastodon, which I like. Also considering BlueSky Social, because some folks I admire are over there and I don't want to lose them. Hearing BlueSky is problematic, tho. Will read up when I get the chance.

There's another one, run by a Christopher Bouzy, that is also problematic. Won't go there either.

Date: 2023-07-04 16:47 (UTC)Jack is definitely problematic (as in: appears batshit crazy to me) and yeah, he's bound to sell out again at some point. But OTOH, if it's the only way I can keep reading people like John Rogers and Amy Berg, then I'll probably sign up for as long as it lasts. I mostly read and lurk on any of the platforms, so it's not a big time investment for me, and low risk. If I, like you, needed it to promote my stuff, that'd be way different.
