Ugh.

When it rains, it pours...

Tried to do a load of laundry and apparently there's a clog in the washing machine drain line that leads from the back down and out. Water poured out the top, across the floor and under the bookcases. Only good thing about these old floors is the gaps in the boards meant the water immediately drained into the cellar, where, thankfully, there's nothing that can be ruined. (and the sump pump and dehumidifier.)

So I can't finish the load that's started, which means no gis for class tonight.

Can't exactly maneuver the pipe snake on my own, because of where the washing machine drain is, so have to wait for Mark to get home. And we have no septic safe drain opener. Ugh. I knew I should have picked some drain maintenance stuff when I was at Lowe's this weekend.

Hopefully snaking the drain works. Otherwise, no idea when we can get a plumber out here, as our preferred is booked out solid.
