Mark called to cancel internet on Monday. Because of a 45 minute wait, he scheduled a call back. Exactly 45 minutes later, they called back.

Here's where it gets really absurd.

Can't cancel Dish internet because of their 'unique situation' (ie, the ransomware attack their call centers got hit with , *in February*and is still on going), when the whole reason we're canceling is because we've had no internet service since last Wednesday( April 19th) and we were done dealing with them giving us the run around.


And no, you can't cancel service via their website, you *have* to call to cancel.

It's so ridiculous.

He flat out told them we don't want to be charged starting last Wednesday, since we have no service.

All they said was,'keep an eye on the website for updates', and 'when the yellow bar goes away, call back and we'll help you with your service'.

Uh... 🤔

Yes, I know we can access it via our phone, and yes, I've been using my phone hotspot for internet. That's not the point.

Long story short- do not use Dish for internet if you have any other options.

And of course, to add insult, our internet came back yesterday afternoon.
