I adore redwing blackbirds. Do you have a marshy area nearby?

I wish I had titmice here. I keep hoping they’ll show up. They always amused me as a kid, the way they hop upside down. They’re just kinda adorable. :)

Yup! I actually got one today, they're really active in the summer here.

There's 2 actual ponds, and an overgrown one that is more of a marsh now, that they love, down the hill from us.

Brown Thrashers have shown up again too, they're more active in late spring/early summer here. The Red Headed Woodpecker, I'm pretty sure is passing through.

The Bluebirds are year round visitors. I think my Mockingbirds moved on for the winter. I'll get Eastern Towhees all winter, slong with Slate Colored Dark Eyed Juncoes (spotted one a few weeks ago, so they're enroute.)

Yeah, living in a riparian/mountain zone makes for great bird varieties.
