*laughs* I'm not that good with all the small brown birds, but the single white stripe seems a little odd. Looking at my copy of the Sibley field guide, maybe a "first winter" chipping sparrow?

Hmm, I dunno... the black stripes and fuzziness are throwing it off...

(You do know it's a Chipmunk, right? LOL. )

It's one of two, and the smaller of the two, that gather bird seed from the front porch every morning.

I chose the "type" of sparrow very carefully, hoping to make that obvious... it was a nice bonus that the colors matched as well as they did even if the pattern didn't!
