Goofy cat.
Opened Mayhem's absolute favorite window, set up the phone with the Merlin Bird ID app going.
Got a great, long list of hits almost immediately. Come back 10 minutes later and...
Mayhem had managed to shut the app down without saving it first.
*headdesk*
Now to start over, lol.
Waiting on Chewy order with suet, seed and such, which is sorely needed as several suet feeders are empty.

Re: Mayhem!
I also sometimes mix in a “fruit ’n’ berry blend” by a company called Wild Delight. It’s mostly sunflower and safflower, but it also has several types of dried fruits and berries. It’s not clear to me that this one attracts any of the birds I was hoping it would draw, at least not blended. But if I put it out on its own the starlings will demolish it. :/
Re: Mayhem!
The Red Berry blend adds cranberries.
All have a variety of seeds, large and small sunflower- regular and black oil, shelled and unshelled, millet, safflower, etc.
I generally get a couple bags of each and mix them. That seems to attract the widest variety of birds for me.
I've seen Wild Delight. Price wise, Harvest was cheaper.

And yes, sometimes being more affordable despite other things is the better deal.
